ICA’s VIEWS SOUGHT BY MEDIA ON FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY

CHIROPRACTIC SCHOOL CONTROVERSY

ABC Radio News will feature a live interview with ICA Board Member Dr. Robert Braile today, Wednesday, January 19th at 4:00 PM Eastern Time, concerning the recent controversy raging around the proposed chiropractic school at Florida State University.  Numerous print and broadcast media organizations have contacted ICA for insight and comment on this high profile issue, and a number of newspapers in Florida have already featured extensive comment by ICA spokespeople.  Dr. Braile is Chairperson of ICA’s Media Ready Response Team, and will address the various issues that have gained the media’s attention in this matter.

“We are urging ICA members who are interested in this issue to tune into ABC radio at 4:00 PM today to hear Dr. Braile’s comments,” said ICA Executive Director Ronald M. Hendrickson.  “ICA represents a reasonable, responsible position on this issue and a strong  advocacy voice for the basic principles of chiropractic, including the subluxation, all of which have come under attack by the profession’s medical critics and detractors.  ICA members have every reason to be proud of the activist role ICA is playing in the media coverage of this matter,” Mr. Hendrickson added.
